An evening with Ms Edwards, entitled Never Give Up, will be held at Dr Challoner’s High School for Girls on Saturday March 11 at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the event are on sale now and should be purchased in advance to guarantee a seat.

In her time, Tracy Edwards has seen great success, and faced disaster. The theme of her talk ‘Never Give Up’ defines her approach to life, and audiences around the country, ranging from major corporations to schools, have been inspired by her story, and the les- sons she has learned from it.

In 1985, Tracy became the first woman to race on a Maxi in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race. In 1989-90 she skippered the first all-female crew to the best performance in the race by a British boat since 1977.

She was awarded an MBE and became the first woman to be voted ‘Yachtsman of the Year’ by the Yachting Journalists’ Association.

Tracy is a highly sought after and acclaimed motivational speaker and the evening with her is sure to be popular.
