THOU­SANDS of food­ies are ex­pected to flock to the Great Mis­senden Food Fes­ti­val over the Easter week­end.

Food lovers will join a host of celebrity chefs for this pop­u­lar food fes­ti­val, which takes place on April 14, 15, 16 and 17 in a field off the A413 round­about.

Celebrity chef and re­al­ity TV star Rose­mary Shrager, Chan­nel 4 bak­ers The Baker Broth­ers, and Great Bri­tish Bake Off quar­ter fi­nal­ist Paul Jag­ger are all set to fea­ture.

Food­ies flock in their masses to this an­nual fes­ti­val, which this year will be rais­ing money for Ren­nie Grove Hospice Care.

Hun­dreds of ex­hibitors will be at the four-day event, which opens at 10am and runs un­til 5pm each day.

Along with the demon­stra­tions there will be in­ter­ac­tive cook­ing fea­tures, a chil­dren’s cook­ery school, a chil­dren’s food lab and bushcraft demon­stra­tions.

Young­sters can also take part in craft ses­sions, Easter egg hunts and a sow and grow area.

If you buy tick­ets in ad­vance they cost £4.50 for adults, £4 for se­niors and £1 for chil­dren aged 6 to 16. Fam­ily tick­ets cost £10 and VIP is £24.95. On the day an adult ticket will set you back £6, a se­nior ticket £5.50 and a fam­ily ticket £13.
