Vintage Cinema’s on the search for stars
Chiltern Vintage Cinema on the hunt for locals to create unique film experience
The company behind Bucks’ unique pop-up cinema nights is looking for local talented individuals or groups it can partner with to help bring its unusual cinematic experiences to life.
Organisers want singers, comedians, magicians and anyone else who thinks they have a talent. With a new season of cinema hits in quirky locations underway Chiltern Vintage Cinema has so far set up two screening nights where it has joined forces with local talent, including securing the services of a brass band to bring Brassed Off to life.
Darren Henderson, founder of Vintage Cinema said: “We’ve just had a great opening night at Holy Trinity church in Prestwood on July 12 where a screening of Grease (sing-a-long) saw the audience dressed to impress, a compere got the crowd singing along and we saw a special live performance from Jade Cheyenne, from Chesham.”
Darren added: “We also have a brilliant night planned at Kings Chapel, The Kings Arms in Old Amersham on September 21 where we will be showing Brassed Off with a live performance from The Chiltern Hills Brass Band, whilst the audience tuck into their pie, mash and gravy. There are plenty more nights like this in the pipeline so if anyone or any group is interested in working with us please get in touch.”
The pop-up cinema company is also looking for more team members to join it in making these exciting events happen. For further information email Darren Henderson at Darren@Vintagecinema.co.uk or visit www. vintagecinema.co.uk.
