Kung fu lessons a big hit
AROUND 40 budding kung fu stars took part in a special martial arts session with the British Institute of Chinese Martial Arts.
Children aged from two to nine at the week-long Little Language Academy Summer Camp were treated to a special Chin Woo Kung Fu session last month. Alasdair Monteith, from The British Institute for Chinese Martial Arts put the children through their paces in a fun session in Gerrards Cross, which was designed to promote fitness, safety and enable children to make new friends.
Debbie Lomax, owner of The Little Language Academy, said: “We are delighted that Alisdair could join us and keep the children entertained in what was a really fun session – everyone really enjoyed it, especially the part where they got to punch or kick the pads.
“We had children as young as two years old joining in.”
