Tom’s giving the local a foodie twist
Popular pub in the park returns to Marlow
FOLLOWING a sell-out debut last year, Pub in the Park returns to Higginson Park, Marlow bringing locals a laid-back summer celebration of the very best food, drink and music, hosted by Tom Kerridge.
Tom will be bringing his famous Michelinstarred pubs The Hand & Flowers and The Coach, serving up delicious taster plates, with something for everyone.
Tom’s menu highlights will include Smoked Haddock with Arnold Bennett style Gourgere, Braised Beef Brisket with chargrilled baby gem and Hand & Flowers salad cream, and Sriracha and Sesame Chicken Fried Bao with spiced seaweed salt and pickled Chinese cabbage.
Joining Tom, will be his fellow chef mates, plus a selection of other top UK pubs, offering their most popular dishes, including Paul Ainsworth Restaurants, Sindhu, The Hardwick, The Wigmore, The Pony & Trap and Berners Tavern, The Swan Inn, Midsummer House, The Crown At Bray and The Star Inn.
Festival-goers will be able to get all the top tips and tricks of the trade from the best UK chefs, with demonstrations from Josh Eggleton, Paul Ainsworth and of course, Tom himself as well as enjoying drinks from the festival bars serving every tipple from Saxby’s craft cider to Sipsmith’s artisan gin.
Not forgetting a chart-topping music line-up with Razorlight, Jamie Cullum, Texas, Melanie C, Will Young and more taking to the stage throughout the day and evening.
The festival will be packed with more than just tasty food and drink. Expect loads of shopping opportunities from kitchenware, homeware, food and drink brands, as well as wine tastings and masterclasses; if gin is your thing be sure to swing past the Sipsmith Gin Palace to sample a cocktail or two. If you’re bringing the whole family, there will be some festival fun for the little ones too with popular kid’s film screenings and a place for them to explore and play.
Tickets for the Friday evening, all Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions sold out within hours of going on sale, but we’re so excited to be able tell you that a limited number of additional tickets for these sessions will be released at 10am on Friday 20 April – remember to go online to get yours before they sell out, again.
