‘Dan­ger’ of string draped over road

A large amount of string was re­moved from St Mary’s Way, Che­sham on April 4 after be­ing pur­pose­fully draped on the road ac­cord­ing to lo­cal po­lice re­ports. A spokesper­son for Thames Val­ley Po­lice Che­sham and South Bucks shared the news on Twit­ter. The state­ment said: “Che­sham NHT was alerted to a large amount of string pur­pose­fully draped along St Marys Way, this morn­ing, need­less to say could have been a dan­ger to mo­torists, now in our care and be­ing dis­posed of.”

Che­sham Town Coun­cil was un­aware of the in­ci­dent when con­tacted.
