‘Danger’ of string draped over road
A large amount of string was removed from St Mary’s Way, Chesham on April 4 after being purposefully draped on the road according to local police reports. A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police Chesham and South Bucks shared the news on Twitter. The statement said: “Chesham NHT was alerted to a large amount of string purposefully draped along St Marys Way, this morning, needless to say could have been a danger to motorists, now in our care and being disposed of.”
Chesham Town Council was unaware of the incident when contacted.
