Bucks pair hit milesto
WITH an unbeaten 50 and 61 apiece in the under-17s' recent nine-wicket win over Hertfordshire, Hannah Bates and Tilly Mason
(pictured) of Ballinger Waggoners both passed 2,000 runs for Buckinghamshire's women and girls teams.
In doing so, they became the first two Bucks women and girls cricketers to cross the landmark figure.
Mason now has 11 half centuries to her name across the age groups and the women's team, while Bates has nine 50s and one century, which came earlier this year for the women.
Mason (Southern Vipers) and Bates (Surrey Stars) have been involved with the ECB's regional development centres since their inception in 2017.
