AC­CLAIMED chef Atul Kochhar has an­nounced the lat­est line up for his 2018 Chef Sea­son which will seen some of the top names in the culi­nary world come to Amer­sham.

Chef Koc­char’s up­com­ing Chef Sea­son is a roll call of the UK’s lead­ing chefs, with col­lab­o­ra­tions that prom­ise to ‘wield ex­cit­ing new flavour com­bi­na­tions and de­li­cious dishes’.

Renowned Miche­lin starred chefs, Jun Tanaka and Gal­ton Black­iston are the lat­est to join him in the kitchens of Hawkyns at The Crown in Old Amer­sham for ex­cit­ing Chef Sea­son col­lab­o­ra­tions.

Chef Kochhar said: “When chefs come to­gether some­thing magical hap­pens and I’m thrilled to be em­bark­ing on th­ese new chef col­lab­o­ra­tions.

“I’m sure they’ll be some tales to tell from the kitchens as we in­fuse our global culi­nary in­flu­ence to cre- ate cap­ti­vat­ing cui­sine.”

Jun Tanaka will be cook­ing up a feast at Hawkyns on October 10.

Amer­i­can born, Ja­panese-Bri­tish chef Tanaka has be­come house­hold name in the restau­rant in­dus­try and a recog­nised tele­vi­sion per­son­al­ity with stints on BBC One’s Satur­day Kitchen and UKTV’s Great Food Live.

With over 20 years at top Lon­don restau­rants, Tanaka cut his teeth at Le Gavroche un­der the Roux Broth­ers and con­tin­ued his clas­sic French train­ing at The Restau­rant Marco Pierre White and The Square un­der Phillip Howard.

Fol­low­ing on Gal­ton Black­iston will be in town on November 20.

A life-long cham­pion of Nor­folk pro­duce, Black­iston has been at the top of his culi­nary game for over 20 years at Morston Hall. Work­ing from the mantra ‘sim­ple things done well are bet­ter than com­pli­cated things done badly’, Black­iston be­lieves above all in con­sis­tency, and let­ting fine, fresh pro­duce speak for them­selves. And his suc­cess speaks for it­self, he has held a Miche­lin star for the last 18 years.
