New deal for Evans
Leicester City are set to offer Jonny Evans a new contract after another outstanding campaign for the centre-half. The 32-year-old Northern Ireland international was signed from West Bromwich Albion for £3.5 million in June 2018 and has been a key performer, making 31 Premier League starts this season. He has less than 12 months remaining on his contract. “We’ll see where we’re at in the summer, but he’s clearly a player I’d love to keep,” said manager Brendan Rodgers.
