Sotutu extends Blues contract Deal could end England interest
Hoskins Sotutu, the impressive New Zealand No 8 who qualifies to play for England, has signed a two-year contract extension to remain with the Blues in Super Rugby. The Daily
Telegraph reported last week that the back row, 21, was on the radar of Eddie Jones, the England head coach, but any move north now seems unlikely.
Sotutu has been a fundamental part of the Blues’ unbeaten start to the interprovincial competition.
Leon MacDonald, the head coach, said: “He can look forward to a long career with us.”
Sotutu added: “It is all about the team, for me.”
