The Daily Telegraph - Business - - Business -

River Island is to cut 250 jobs at its headquarters to keep a lid on costs. The fashion firm was forced to shut all of its stores in March. The business only started selling online in mid-April. Will Kernan, chief executive, said in an email to staff: “As a result of the work undertaken, we have a requirement for some 250 fewer people.”
