The world’s first pri­vate ice­breaker able to reach the most re­mote des­ti­na­tions can be char­tered for $840,000 (£667,000) a week. La Datcha, which is 253ft long, was com­mis­sioned by Oleg Tinkoff, the Rus­sian bil­lion­aire, cost a re­ported $100m, and can stay at sea for 40 days with­out re­fu­elling. It was launched in Vlissin­gen in the Nether­lands.
