The race for a top-four finish King Power showdown looms

The Daily Telegraph - Business - - Total Football -

In the top four since September, Leicester are in for a nervy week to see if they can retain their current position having now played a game more than most of their rivals.

Chelsea, in third and one point better off than the Foxes, remain in the driving seat although games against Liverpool on Wednesday and Wolves on the final day will be far from easy.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have the same amount of points, 62, as Leicester in fifth and an identical goal difference. It meant another goal for Tottenham yesterday and Manchester United would have moved up a place while playing in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

Ultimately, should Manchester United beat West Ham in their game in hand on Wednesday, and then claim a final-day draw at the King Power, they will be assured of a top-four finish at the expense of Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester.
