First-half profit halves at recruiter SThree
British recruiting firm SThree revealed that its first-half profit nearly halved, as coronavirus lockdowns slowed hiring globally. Pre-tax profit dropped 43pc to £13m in the first half of the financial year, and was down 48pc on an adjusted basis. It came on revenue of £602.6m, down around 8pc. SThree had ceased all hiring activities in April.
