Fuller’s pubs suf­fer £10m blow from lock­down

Pub chain Fuller’s took a hit of more than £10m in March alone as the im­pact of the pan­demic weighed on trad­ing. It said the financial im­pact in­cluded the down­turn in sales af­ter Boris John­son ad­vised peo­ple not to visit pubs in March, and their sub­se­quent clo­sure un­der lock­down. The group posted a 3pc rise in rev­enue to £333m in the year to March 28, com­pared to a year ago.
