Derby await spending ruling

The Daily Telegraph - Business - - Sport | Football -

Derby County, who were charged in January by the English Football League with breaches of spending rules, should learn their fate in the next 10 days. They could be hit with a hefty points deduction if found guilty by an independent disciplinary commission. Derby were found to have exceeded “excess losses” in the three years up to June 2018, with the charge understood to be related to the £80million sale of their Pride Park stadium to a company owned by chairman Mel Morris.
