Glas­gow Prest­wick Air­port swings back

An air­port owned by the Scottish Gov­ern­ment has re­ported a fi­nan­cial turn­around af­ter a £1m loss a year ago. Glas­gow Prest­wick Air­port posted an un­der­ly­ing op­er­at­ing profit of £3m for the year to March 31. Rev­enue in­creased by 46pc year-on-year to £36m, up from £24.6m. The Scottish Gov­ern­ment has been seek­ing to sell the site af­ter tak­ing it into public hands for £1 in 2013.
