Woe at WTO as trade lev­els fall to 13-year low

The World Trade Or­gan­i­sa­tion says world mer­chan­dise trade lev­els fell to their low­est lev­els since 2007 dur­ing the sec­ond quar­ter. Its for­ward-look­ing goods trade barom­e­ter dropped to 64.5, com­pared with 87.6 in May and 95.5 in Fe­bru­ary. Read­ings above 100 in­di­cate growth over the com­ing quar­ter in line with medium-term trends.
