Wil­liam Hill in talks over merger with US part­ner

Book­maker Wil­liam Hill is shift­ing its fo­cus to con­cen­trate on merg­ing its US op­er­a­tions with part­ner Cae­sars En­ter­tain­ment. Joe Asher, US boss at Wil­liam Hill, con­firmed the com­pany is in talks with Cae­sars about join­ing their sports-bet­ting and on­line gam­ing busi­nesses, Bloomberg re­ported. Cae­sars al­ready owned 20pc of Wil­liam Hill’s US arm.
