Smartsheet shares dip de­spite beat­ing es­ti­mates

Smartsheet, the en­ter­prise plat­form for dy­namic work, tum­bled yes­ter­day in the wake of the earn­ings miss an­nounced on Wednesday night. The sec­ond quar­ter loss per share was 22 cents, while the con­sen­sus es­ti­mate was for a loss per share of 16 cents. Rev­enue jumped by 41pc to $91.2m (£68.8m) which topped the $86.6m fore­cast.
