MOR­RIS DANCING: Open Evening for be­gin­ners. Thurs Sept 27 8.30-10pm. Cadi Ha Mor­ris are look­ing for new mem­bers of any gen­der, aged 16+ to dance or as mu­si­cians. We are hold­ing an Open Evening in Coed Mawr Com­mu­nity Cen­tre (be­hind McDon­alds) on Thurs­day Septem­ber 27th, 8.30-10pm. Free of charge. No ex­pe­ri­ence or part­ner needed. Just turn up in loose com­fort­able clothes and train­ers or sim­i­lar. PLAY­FORD DANCING: Caribbean food. Ban­gor Mayor, Cllr John Wynn Jones, will of­fi­cially launch Black His­tory Month, and he will be fol­lowed by an af­ter­noon of live dance, mu­sic, drum­ming and po­etry. There are stalls and ex­hi­bi­tions to find out in­for­ma­tion on black his­tory and forth­com­ing ac­tiv­i­ties. WORLD SHIP SO­CI­ETY: The ‘World Ship So­ci­ety’ (North Wales Branch), will be hold­ing their monthly meet­ing at 2pm on Satur­day Oc­to­ber 13, at, ‘Clwb Hi­rael Club’, Am­brose Street, Ban­gor, LL57 1DF. This months pre­sen­ta­tion will be short films of- ‘Ship­ping items of in­ter­est found on the in­ter­net’. Any­one with such in­ter­ests will be wel­come to at­tend, at a cost of £2.50 en­trance fee. ST MARY’S CHURCH: 9.30am ev­ery Sun­day Angli­can bilin­gual ser­vice. BEDDGELERT SHORT MAT BOWLS: Ev­ery Tues­day evening, from 7-9pm in Beddgelert Com­mu­nity Hall. It’s very in­for­mal, ev­ery­one is wel­come, no ex­pe­ri­ence is needed, bowls are pro­vided, any age can play, and it’s fun! Plus, we usu­ally go for a drink and chat af­ter­wards.
