DRU YOGA CLASSES: Abersoch Vil­lage Hall. Mon­day 7-8.15pm and Wed­nes­day 10.30-11.45am. Dru Yoga is prac­tised by peo­ple of all abil­i­ties, all fit­ness lev­els and all age groups, with classes tai­lored to the needs of each in­di­vid­ual. MACMIL­LAN COFFEE MORN­ING: is to be held at Pant Farm, Bwlch­to­cyn at 10.30am - 12.30 on Fri­day Septem­ber 28 or­gan­ised by South Caernar­fon­shire Sorop­ti­mists with kind per­mis­sion of Mr and Mrs Rod­er­ick Carus. There will be a cake stall and raf­fle. Tick­ets £3 in­cludes coffee and cake. DWYFOR CAM­ERA CLUB: The Club’s sea­son starts next Tues­day evening, Oc­to­ber 2 at 7.30pm in Abersoch Vil­lage Hall and runs from Oc­to­ber to April. There are about 30 ac­tive mem­bers and the pro­gramme is built around their var­i­ous in­ter­ests and needs. Ex­am­ples of the top­ics and in­ter­ests in­clude: Prac­ti­cal ses­sions on get­ting the best out of your cam­era; Tu­to­ri­als on Pho­to­shop and Lightroom soft­ware; Por­traits and still life; Com­pe­ti­tions; Out­door pho­to­shoots; Guest speak­ers. Dur­ing Oc­to­ber the club will be spend­ing time go­ing over the tools and tech­niques of pho­tog­ra­phy – for the ben­e­fit of new and re­turn­ing mem­bers – work­ing in smaller groups, so that we can all fo­cus on the kind of learn­ing that’s im­por­tant to us in­di­vid­u­ally. This might mean find­ing out more about our cam­eras and how to make full use of them, to­gether with the var­i­ous tech­niques used in pro­cess­ing images with tools such as Pho­to­shop and Lightroom. Ev­ery­one is most wel­come to come along and hear more about the club.
