Audi seeks dig­i­tal shop ahead of mar­ket­ing re­think

Audi is on the hunt for a UK dig­i­tal agency as the com­pany re­views its over­all mar­ket­ing strat­egy.

Ben­jamin Braun, who joined Audi UK as head of mar­ket­ing at the end of 2016, is lead­ing the re­view.

Audi wants an agency to help it push the “Vor­sprung durch Tech­nik” phi­los­o­phy on apps, mo­bile, in-car in­ter­faces and on­line.

The re­view af­fects Audi’s web agency, Salmon, and its mo­bile shop, Somo. The win­ning agency will work along­side Bar­tle Bogle He­garty London and PHD.

BBH cre­ated a spot called “Re­act” that launched ear­lier this month.

Braun said: “It is es­sen­tial that the part­ner can work with Audi to ac­cel­er­ate the speed to mar­ket and en­hance the brand’s agility in the dig­i­tal space.”
