Rekorderlig on hunt for creative agency
Rekorderlig, the Swedish flavouredcider brand, is on the hunt for an agency to handle its advertising account.
ISBA is running the pitch process. Rekorderlig has been in talks with agencies about strategic ideas.
Saatchi & Saatchi London has held the business since 2014 and is not repitching.
The agency created Rekorderlig’s first global campaign featuring two hairy Swedish figure skaters. The spot, called “Silver skaters”, ran online and in cinemas.
Molson Coors bought the UK rights to the brand in July 2015 from Chilli Marketing.
A Molson Coors spokesman said: “Molson Coors will not comment on any media speculation but continually reviews its agency partners to ensure it has the best operators to build its brands across the globe.”
Commenting on the split, a Saatchi & Saatchi spokeswoman said the agency is “incredibly proud” of its award-winning work for Rekorderlig.
She added: “The new owners have now decided to hold a review for the business. Sometimes it’s just time to move on.”
Rekorderlig: Saatchis is not repitching
