Smart-home brand Hive makes its tech­nol­ogy more ac­ces­si­ble by con­nect­ing it to an ev­ery­day fam­ily mo­ment in a new ad by CHI & Part­ners. As a fa­ther fi­nally gets his baby to sleep, he re­alises that he is stuck on the sofa and can’t get up to turn off the lights or the TV – which is when Hive’s app comes in handy. It is the sec­ond spot in the “Let’s get liv­ing” cam­paign, which launched ear­lier this month and aims to pro­mote Hive in mar­kets in­clud­ing the UK, Canada and the US. The work was cre­ated by Wil­liam Cot­tam and Dun­can Brooks, and di­rected by Max Malkin through Pret­ty­bird.
