Kintyre ploughman’s long service

MR FRANCIS McGrath, who has completed 30 years’ service on the farm of Ranachan (Mrs Andrew’s), has recently received tangible recognition of his long and meritorious service in the form of the Highland and Agricultural Society’s silver medal, bearing the inscription: ‘30 years’ service, Francis McGrath, 1917.’ The medal was accompanied by the certificate of the Society.

Mr McGrath’s faithful record of work over this extended period was brought to the notice of the Highland Society through the Kintyre Agricultural Society.

His many friends will congratulate him on being the recipient of the H. and A. S. long-service medal, and will wish him many years of continued health and strength to enjoy his well-merited decoration and to do his ‘bit’ in connection with the important industrial occupation which it is his lot to follow.
