Hotel owners’ charity birthday bonanza
THE ERSKINE family celebrated one year in charge of Carradale hotel and raised money for a charity night close to their hearts.
Rhona Erskine said they chose Alzheimer Scotland due to the lack of support for people diagnosed with the condition at a young age.
Mrs Erskine added: ‘My husband Alan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s aged 44 and died aged 53.
‘Most of the support is for older people and just two per cent is targeted at younger sufferers.’
