Pint-sized plan to re-use milk bottles

Campbeltown Courier - - DISTRICTS -

FORGET recycling used plastic milk bottles, a pint-sized idea will transform them into an attractive light.

Members of Clachan SWI had a night of fun and laughter when Zoe Weir showed them how to make tea-light holders from plastic milk bottles. Members were given electric tea-lights to use in them and they looked very attractive lit up.

In the second part of the evening, members had to guess whose parents were in photos they had taken to the meeting.

Those with the most correct guesses were 1 = Cathy McLean and Glynis Lewin, 2 = Pauline Simson, Lousie Stanes by, Margaret Mundell, and Jane Griffiths, 3 = Zoe Weir and Joyce Andrews.

In a comic twist to the entertainment, jokes were told and a vote for the funniest gave the following result: 1 Pauline Simson, 2 Zoe Weir, and 3 Lousie Stanes by.

Mrs Weir and Mrs Lewin provided tea before Mrs Weir was thanked for giving members such a good evening.
