A DIS­MAN­TLED alu­minium scaf­fold­ing tower has been stolen from a build­ing site within the Machri­han­ish Air­base Busi­ness Park, Camp­bel­town. The theft oc­curred be­tween Oc­to­ber 16 and 25.

GRAF­FITI was writ­ten on the walls at Dal­in­to­ber Pri­mary School some­time be­tween 4pm on Fri­day Oc­to­ber 27 and 7am on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 30. The hasp on a pad­lock was also dam­aged.

A TRIO of teenage males and a man aged 21 were charged with set­ting fire­works off in a pub­lic place. They were caught and the fire­works seized at 9.35pm on Tues­day near Kilk­er­ran Road, Camp­bel­town.

A ROU­TINE check by po­lice on a van in To­maig Road, Camp­bel­town, re­vealed the driver was dis­qual­i­fied and had no in­sur­ance or MoT. Po­lice con­fis­cated the ve­hi­cle at about 8.50am on Fri­day Novem­ber 3. The 57-year-old driver was ar­rested and a re­port sub­mit­ted to the fis­cal.

AT ABOUT 12.45am last Satur­day a man was ar­rested in Burn­bank Street after breach­ing bail con­di­tions and giv­ing po­lice a false name. The 29-yearold breached the con­di­tions by be­ing in the com­pany of a woman. A woman, aged 31, was also ar­rested for abu­sive be­hav­iour, at­tempt­ing to res­cue the man and as­sault­ing a po­lice of­fi­cer. Both were charged and a re­port was sub­mit­ted to the fis­cal.

A 56-YEAR-OLD man stopped while driv­ing on the A83 road in Camp­bel­town was found to have no in­sur­ance for his ve­hi­cle. He was charged and a re­port sub­mit­ted to the fis­cal.

IN THE early hours of Satur­day morn­ing a glass pane was smashed in the front door at Golden Ocean Restau­rant in Lon­grow, Camp­bel­town. Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for wit­nesses to call 101 or anony­mously on 0800 555 111.
