Lib Dems meet for In­ver­aray gathering

South Kin­tyre coun­cil­lor Rory Colville was elected as a Lib Dem vice con­vener at the party’s In­ver­aray an­nual gen­eral meet­ing. Ed­in­burgh West MSP Alex Cole Hamil­ton was the guest speaker at the Ar­gyll and Bute Lib­eral Democrats’ event last Satur­day. Mr Cole Hamil­ton said: ‘I’m de­lighted to be in In­ver­aray which is stun­ningly beau­ti­ful in the au­tumn sun­shine. ‘We are keep­ing up our cam­paigns for a Peo­ple’s Vote on Brexit and to keep Scot­land strong in both the UK and the EU.’ The other of­fice bear­ers elected were con­vener – Cathy McInnes (In­ver­aray); vice con­vener – Ali­son Hay (Mi­nard); sec­re­tary – Ross More­land (Dunoon); trea­surer – Bill Sta­ley (Ar­dr­ishaig); and mem­ber­ship sec­re­tary – coun­cil­lor Alan Reid (Dunoon).
