Boat lift idea rises up the coun­cil agenda

PRO­POS­ALS TO CRE­ATE a new Daven­try arm of the Grand Union Canal have moved a step nearer to re­al­i­sa­tion with the an­nounce­ment that Daven­try Dis­trict Coun­cil has ear­marked £110,000 to­wards plan­ning a boat lift as part of the scheme.
