More mooring frustration

Canal Boat - - Letters - ALAN MARSHALL,

IN THE CRUISE GUIDE (page 48/49 CB, Dec) it would appear to show a hire boat approaching a lock with what is clearly a probable constant cruiser securely moored to the lock bollards.

As a boat syndicate member, it is often this and other mooring abuse issues that can lead to both anger and frustration while cruising. While many extended mooring issues are rarely policed, this would appear to be clear cut, or clear on the cut! I hope the boat’s owners read your magazine.
