Welsh gem goes to ABC Leisure

GOYTRE WHARF, A boat­ing hub, her­itage site and tourist at­trac­tion on the Monmouthshire & Bre­con, is to be fully man­aged by ABC Leisure Group, hav­ing up to now been split be­tween ABC, Bri­tish Wa­ter­ways Mari­nas Ltd and the Canal & River Trust.

ABC Leisure will take over re­spon­si­bil­ity for run­ning the moor­ings and the main­te­nance and de­vel­op­ment of the whole site, hav­ing al­ready op­er­ated the Red­line hire fleet, café and hol­i­day cot­tage. Man­ag­ing Di­rec­tor Ed Helps said ABC was “very pleased to be work­ing with the Trust in the de­vel­op­ment of Goytre Wharf as a tourist at­trac­tion with its unique her­itage”.

Clean for The Queen which has been or­gan­ised to clear up Bri­tain in time for Her Majesty’s 90th birth­day, which will be of­fi­cially cel­e­brated in June.
