CRT appoints fourth Trustee
FOLLOWING THE ANNOUNCEMENT of three new Trustees of the Canal & River Trust earlier this year, Janet Hogben has been appointed as the fourth new member of CRT’s Trustee Board. The unpaid Trustees’ role is to direct the Trust’s high level strategy and vision. They in turn are responsible to its 40-strong governing Council which meets twice yearly.
Ms Hogben’s career in HR has included senior roles at BP and drinks companies Seagram and Diageo, following which she has been Chief People Officer for EDF Energy.
She joins the three new Trustees already appointed: Nigel Annet, Dame Jenny Abramsky and Tim Reeve, whose appointments were ratified at the CRT Council meeting following the Trust’s Annual Meeting in September.
