CRT ap­points fourth Trustee

FOL­LOW­ING THE AN­NOUNCE­MENT of three new Trustees of the Canal & River Trust ear­lier this year, Janet Hog­ben has been ap­pointed as the fourth new mem­ber of CRT’s Trustee Board. The un­paid Trustees’ role is to di­rect the Trust’s high level strat­egy and vi­sion. They in turn are re­spon­si­ble to its 40-strong gov­ern­ing Coun­cil which meets twice yearly.

Ms Hog­ben’s ca­reer in HR has in­cluded se­nior roles at BP and drinks com­pa­nies Sea­gram and Di­a­geo, fol­low­ing which she has been Chief Peo­ple Of­fi­cer for EDF En­ergy.

She joins the three new Trustees al­ready ap­pointed: Nigel An­net, Dame Jenny Abram­sky and Tim Reeve, whose ap­point­ments were rat­i­fied at the CRT Coun­cil meet­ing fol­low­ing the Trust’s An­nual Meet­ing in Septem­ber.
