This is a very smart boat, both outside and in. It’s on a good shell by an excellent builder and the fit-out is well executed with nice attention to detail. The reverse layout works, and there’s all the equipment you need, along with plenty of things you might class as extras.
And in spite of all of that, it’s not expensive. Rob got a good deal because he bought the boat at Crick in a half-built state, but if you wanted to order a similar one right now the price would be around £100,000. In the current market, that’s a lot of boat for a very reasonable price.
Of course, the important thing is that the boat works for Rob, and he’s delighted with it. Spending his retirement boating alone isn’t what he imagined or wanted and sometimes life is harsh, but at least this boat means that Rob can get away, remember the good times, and use Eleshanne to help raise awareness of his wife’s condition, and money for research into it.
