Don’t miss an even bigger London-on-Water
CANAL BOATS are going back on show in London this year thanks to the London On-Water yachting and boating festival.
Held in St Katharine Docks, central London’s only marina, and a stone’s throw from Tower Bridge and The Tower of London, the show is planning a Canal Boat World feature for the first time.
London On-Water, now in its third year, will be held over 8-11 June and will showcase everything from RIBs to luxury yachts and everything in between with each vessel available to visit and explore on-board, plus there will be a supercar showcase and mariner’s village.
In addition to Canal Boat World, new features this year include a ‘Mariner’s Retail Village’ on Marble Quay, live screening of the America’s Cup, the opportunity to take a boat for a spin and a chance to see Ben Fogle, the well-known TV personality and explorer and powerboat racing veteran Tom Montgomery-Swan on their Spectre 32R on which they plan to challenge the world record for the fastest circumnavigation of the British Isles in a boat.
While some of the show is free, access to the marina and pontoons costs £5 but Canal Boat readers can get in for free by going to londononwater.com/sgi and entering the sgi code CANAL.
