AINTREE BOATS DRAGONFLY 60FT SEMI-CRUISER
LAST YEAR, Aintree Boats showed a widebeam boat, but this time they were back on more traditional territory with a 60ft narrowboat priced at well under £100k. The firm builds its own steel work as well as doing the fit-outs, and we’ve always been impressed by the shape of the shell; the curvy bow is really quite pretty.
This is a reverse layout boat, with the galley at the stern. It features wood block worktops, including a cover for the circular sink and there are drawers in the kickboards. There’s a Pullman dinette, and a saloon with a stove and room for a large sofa. The walk-through shower room has a quadrant shower and a Vetus loo. The cabin is at the bow and has a cross bed with the infill from a flap that folds down from the hull side. There’s also plenty of storage.
The engine is a Beta 43 and there are four 135Ah domestic batteries and a 3kW Victron inverter.
