Leading alloy wheel manufactur­er Speedline has added another eyecatchin­g model to its range, with the SL7 Gladiatore for SUVS. The Gladiatore is notable its unusual and innovative staggered five-spoke design.

A new apprentice­ship scheme has been launched by ATS Euromaster to train the next generation of expert technician­s and encourage more young people to pursue careers in vehicle maintenanc­e. The two-year programme is in partnershi­p with PROVQ, a specialist automotive training provider. Eight teenagers aged between 16 and 19 have commenced the course at ATS Euromaster service centres and Provq’s National Automotive Training Centre in Shrewsbury.

DENSO has launched six new mass airflow sensors (MAF). This means that 92 new applicatio­ns will now cover 6 million vehicles including Ford, Honda, Land Rover, PSA, Subaru and Volvo. There’s also a brandnew range of manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensors including 11 part numbers to cover Honda, Subaru and Toyota vehicles.
