Brake Fluid Boiling Point Tester

-

Non-silicone-based brake fluids absorb moisture over their service life, greatly reducing braking efficiency and safety. The Laser Brake Fluid Boiling Point Tester (part number 6802) is designed to measure the boiling point of brake fluid quickly and accurately. It works on all grades of brake fluid, with the bright LCD screen clearly showing the temperature at which the fluid has boiled and recommending whether the fluid should be replaced.

Quick and easy to set up, you use the supplied syringe to collect a sample of fluid from the reservoir. To start the test, place the sample into the glass container, insert the probe and select the required grade of brake fluid on the device. When the test is completed, the boiling point of the fluid is displayed, plus the standard dry and wet boiling points for the grade being tested, showing ‘OK’ if the fluid is within the safe range, a warning symbol if replacement is recommended or ‘X’ if it’s is out of range and must be replaced immediately.

The Laser Brake Fluid Boiling Point Tester retails for £415.
