I have a 2010 Skoda Octavia 1.2 TSI petrol estate with engine CBZB. The traction control system (TCS) warning lamp is coming on at times, whether the car is stationary or moving. If I switch the ignition off and on again, the light goes out. It happens only a few times and does not affect the running of the car. Bill Mclean The TCS prevents the driving wheels from slipping when accelerating by throttling the engine power output. The system is incorporated into the anti-lock braking system and uses the ABS sensors to detect a difference in the individual wheel speed. It will also get information from the lateral and longitudinal acceleration senders, the brake switch and the yaw rate sender.
As the ABS light is not indicating a fault, I suspect that the problem is not with any of the ABS sensors. It could,
