Car Mechanics (UK) - - Product Test -

Despite being priced considerably higher than the Kennedy unit, the Sealey VS0274’S casing appears to be exactly the same, aside from slightly different printed graphics, although we were unable to ascertain whether or not the internal parts were identical. We found several retailers selling the VS0274 for a similar price to the Kennedy, which is why we have not penalised it too much for the high RRP.

As with the Kennedy tester, we preferred the additional LEDS over the plainer trafficlight alternatives and the results recorded between them were very similar. The main difference was that the Sealey illuminated all of its LEDS consistently when confronted with our sample fluid with the lowest boiling point and we judged this superior calibration as justification for it earning second place.
