Gumtree and ebay join forces

Online car dealers can now reach two big audiences with one advert following a decision to merge Gumtree’s motoring division with ebay. It also means punters will be able to choose from more vehicles on one viewing platform.

According to the parent company, ebay Classifieds Group, Gumtree is currently the fastest-growing classifieds marketplace for selling vehicles in the UK. Apparently, six million users per month visit the motoring division on Gumtree, while 3.7 million users per month search on ebay for a new vehicle.

Three packages with add-ons for all budgets will be offered to dealers to list their stock.
