iDrive – it’s still the daddy
The other three cars in this test all sport fancy touchscreen infotainment systems with varying degrees of success (love the Honda’s, hate the Ford’s, confused in general by the Seat’s). None of them are as easy to interact with as BMW’s awesomely intuitive iDrive, and its eyes-still-irmlyon-the-road rotary controller. And the 1-series doesn’t even have the latest version. Here’s hoping it keeps that user friendliness as it evolves.
