Aero­dy­nam­ics 8% more down­force, helped by a new diuser, wider skirts, broader front spoiler lip and new rear wing end plates and sup­ports.

Pow­er­train

Power is up 20bhp to 513bhp; torque is up 7lb ft to 347lb ft. The 4.0-litre ‘lat-six’s ex­tra oomph comes largely from re­vised valveg­ear, new ex­haust and in­duc­tion sys­tems and tweaked elec­tron­ics, lift­ing the red­line to 9000rpm.

Stick­ers Stan­dard on the 991.2 GT3 RS – just in case on­look­ers were in any doubt.

Body­work

New tail-lights at the back, LED in­di­ca­tors at the front. NACA ducts on bon­net help cool brakes, and all vents are re­shaped to get air in and out.

Sus­pen­sion Rose-jointed, with sim­i­lar spring rates front and rear as GT2 RS. That’s dou­ble the pre­vi­ous RS at the front, up 50% at the rear.

Ti­ta­nium ex­haust Ti­ta­nium si­lencer and tailpipes. No won­der it sounds so good.

Forged wheels

20s up front, 21s at the rear as be­fore, but now 100g lighter. Every lit­tle bit helps, you know.

Weis­sach Pack Oers the op­tion of car­bon roof and mag­ne­sium wheels.

Tech­nol­ogy Gets lat­est 991.2 touch­screen in­side.
