Cardmaking and Papercraft - - 6 Ways With… Pencil Erasers -

1 Calculate how many tiles you’ll need to fill your frame and cut to size. I used nine 45x60mm tiles of white card. Once cut, emboss them using a mix of patterns. 2 I laid out the embossed card, then inked them to give the effect of colour coming from the centre. The blue seeps into the neighbouring tiles, followed by red and then yellow. Use the Cut N Dry to mix colours. 3 Attach the embossed tiles in place on black card, leaving a border around each to allow the tiles to stand out.

4 Decide what verse, proverb, poem or sentiment you wish to write, then die-cut the letters required. I cut mine all in black, then cut some a second time in white for the letters that sit in the gaps between the tiles. Attach the black letters onto the white letters, as this will make them stand out. I like to be random with my fonts, as I really love this look.
