Shine with Si­monne Clay’s ideas for us­ing Hunky­dory’s mir­ror-ef­fect card

2 Sweet 16

Round the top left and bot­tom right corners of a 75x100mm piece of black pat­terned pa­per. At­tach to the cen­tre of a 107x139mm piece of white card. Wrap the cen­tre with a 150x61mm piece of white vel­lum, then wrap twice with black and white baker’s twine. Add panel to the front of a 107x139mm base card. 2 Die-cut num­bers from aqua Mirri card. At­tach to the base card us­ing sticky fix­ers. Die-cut stars from lime green and sil­ver Mirri card and at­tach as shown. Add a black and white baker’s twine bow, to fin­ish.

4 Gift box

Score a 180mm square of black card at 60mm and 120mm. Turn 90 de­grees and score again. Cut along some of the score lines to cre­ate a box base. As­sem­ble. 2 Score a 142mm square of white card at 40mm and 102mm. Turn 90 de­grees and score again. Cut along some of the score lines to cre­ate a box lid. As­sem­ble. Cover sides of lid with black and white striped pat­terned pa­per. 3 Cut a 13mm strip (ap­prox. 265mm long) of lime green Mirri card. Wrap around box and at­tach. Fin­ish with a die-cut bow.

1 Happy birth­day mir­ror

1 Cover the front of a 148x80mm base with pink pat­terned pa­per. 2 Use the Cre­ative Ex­pres­sions Cal­abria die to cre­ate a mir­ror frame from black card. Cut out a 110mm di­am­e­ter cir­cle from sil­ver Mirri card and at­tach be­hind the aper­ture. Add the mir­ror to the base card, as shown. 3 Use the Cre­ative Ex­pres­sions Re­tail Ther­apy die set to cre­ate lip­stick, nail pol­ish and per­fume bot­tles from pink and sil­ver Mirri card and black card. Add to the base, as shown. 4 Die-cut ‘Happy birth­day’ from pink Mirri card and at­tach to the cen­tre of the mir­ror, to fin­ish.

3 Kind friend

1 Dry em­boss a 102x140mm piece of green om­bre Mirri card. At­tach to the cen­tre of a 112x140mm piece of cop­per Mirri card. Wrap with a 150x50mm piece of white vel­lum, and at­tach to the front of a 112x140mm base card. 2 Stamp a sen­ti­ment in grey ink onto a 58mm white stitched cir­cle die-cut. Add to base with sticker fix­ers. Die-cut fo­liage and the word ‘kind’ from cop­per Mirri card and at­tach as shown, to fin­ish.

5 Best wishes tag

Die-cut a 70x113mm tag from white card. At­tach a 70x15mm piece of pink striped pa­per along the bot­tom edge. Round the corners. 2 Die-cut one light pink and two dark pink flow­ers us­ing the Cre­ative Ex­pres­sions Sweet Wil­liams die set. Die-cut flo­ral cen­tres and leaves from cop­per Mirri card. Add to tag. 3 Stamp a sen­ti­ment in brown, as shown. Add a dark pink die-cut sen­ti­ment be­low. 4 Punch a hole in the top of the tag. Thread with pink rib­bon and tie with gold baker’s twine.
