Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Know How -

1 Print the Vintage Rose design onto a 300mm square of watercolour paper using Sea Glass ink. Clean the screen, allow to dry and replace on the frame. Mix Niagara and white to make a pale blue. Print only the largest rose onto frosted shrink plastic. Replace the printed paper, turning 90 degrees and mask off a 100mm strip down one side. Print again in pale blue. 2 Clean screen. Turn rose paper 90 degrees and print with white ink, keeping the mask in place. 3 Cut a 140mm square from the multi-printed rose paper. Cut a 60mm square and a 140x25mm strip from the Sea Glass rose printed paper. Sponge all the edges with Sea Glass ink, then layer the two smaller pieces onto a 70mm square and a 140x35mm strip sponged with pale blue ink. Attach all pieces as shown onto a 150mm square base sponged with Sea Green ink. 4 Print or stamp a sentiment onto 140x20mm ivory card. Sponge edges with pale blue ink, and add to the base card. Cut out the rose and shrink with a heat tool. Colour with blue and green ProMarkers, and attach with sticky fixers, to finish.
