Resourceful crafting

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Your Letters -

My name is Jen and I am an avid cardmaker for charitable causes. I make cards in batches so that charities can sell them in their shops or at fundraising events. My most recent batch went to Myton Hospice in Warwick, who did a fantastic job of looking after my late Grandma. I’m always looking for new ideas and absolutely loved the embossing folders that came with the September issue, 173. The only problem is, I don’t own a die-cutting machine – it’s on my Christmas list. Desperate to make use of the embossing folders, I had to get even more creative and used a ceramic rolling pin and a tiled bathroom floor instead! As you can see, it did the trick. Many thanks for the inspiration, Jen Baker-Jones, via email Sienna says: It’s fantastic to hear that you make cards for charity, and that you go to such lengths to create the perfect card. Keep up the wonderful crafting!
