Star

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Knowhow Technique -

1 Start with a green paint/ medium mix (if you have one left over from a previous paper you can reuse it). Smooth out then draw green lines of acrylic paint out from the centre.

2 With white acrylic paint, draw white lines in a spiral out from the centre of the gel plate. Draw a narrow head clay moulding tool out from the middle and repeat on each dark green line to create a spider web effect. Use the tool to add further detail to the pattern if required. Print as before and leave to dry.

3 Cut out the large star and about 10 small stars from a variety of papers you have printed. Attach the large star to a 130mm square base. Add the smaller stars as shown. Stitch through the small stars twice with a length of metallic thread.

Stamp the sentiment in dark green and emboss with clear powder. Stamp red snowflakes as shown and add dots in gold. Attach a red star in the middle of the large star, to finish.

Draw a spiral pattern for this Christmas star
