Mittens

Cardmaking and Papercraft - - Knowhow Technique -

1 Mix ½ tbsp of white and a little dark green acrylic paint into the gloss medium to make a pale green paste. Spread out on the gel plate. Add lines of white and red. Draw a narrow tool alternatively up and down to create a feather effect. Print paper as before.

2 Use the remaining paste and smooth out. Add dark green and white in lines. Draw the narrow tool down through the paint repeating all the way across, to create the loop effect. Print the paper as before and leave to dry.

3 Cut out right and left mitten shapes. Cut out cuffs from the green paper and add to the mittens. Attach to the 130mm square base as shown.

4 Stamp a sentiment in dark green and emboss with clear powder. Stamp red snowflakes over the card, add dots of gold. Stitch lines of metallic thread from the top of the card to each mitten cuff and back again, as shown. Trim ends neatly, to finish.
